Isaah Cooper - Wellness Coaching Expert

Man with crossed arms wearing a Core Athletes shirt featuring a brain and soccer ball logo.

Over the years, I have listened to countless stories from the people closest to me and seen how heavy medical diagnoses can weigh on both the body and the mind. Illness often shakes a person’s sense of stability, and it almost always affects their mental health. I have come to see that the gut and the brain are closely linked. When the body struggles, so does the mind, and when the mind is weighed down, the body often follows.

This connection has become part of my foundation for change and empowerment, and it is why I am so passionate about bringing mental health and wellness together at HTG.

My foundation began in psychology, earning my Bachelor of Science degree and learning how the mind and behavior are deeply tied to the environments we live in. At HTG, I bring that foundation into my role as Client Services Specialist and as part of the Wellness Department. Every day I meet people at the starting line of their journey, listen to what they are going through, and connect them with the right services and the right clinician for their needs. I fight for client rights, validate their experiences, and make sure they are seen as people first and as individuals with unique stories.

The diet coaching offers structure and accountability, enhancing the nutrition guidance provided to clients. The mindfulness tools give them space to breathe, reset, and manage stress. When combined with my background in psychology, this creates a foundation that supports real change, helping clients see that transformation is possible and sustainable. At HTG Wellness, I bring all of these passions together. Coaching, psychology, client services, fitness, nutrition, and mindfulness are not separate lanes; they are threads that, when woven together, create a foundation for empowerment.

My role as a wellness coach is to stand with each person who walks through our doors, to listen, to fight for their care, and to help them discover the strength they already carry within.

As a certified Master Wellness Life Coach, Health and Nutrition Life Coach, Diet Coach, and Mindfulness Life Coach.

I integrate these elements into a coaching style that emphasizes empowerment. As a wellness coach, I focus on fitness training to help clients build strength and stamina, while also providing nutrition guidance to demonstrate how food can fuel healing and support mental health.

My week includes gym sessions 4 to 5 times, daily cardio, and consistent time for personal growth.

I also live by the same habits I teach as a wellness coach. I read ten pages a day, listen to development audios, and sharpen my focus at seminars. Influences like Jim Rohn have shaped how I see discipline and consistency, while books like Eat That Frog and The Compound Effect remind me that success is built through small, steady actions. This approach also ties into my beliefs about mental health and the importance of maintaining a balanced lifestyle.

Outside of work, I draw inspiration from culture and creativity. I have a love for Latin and Japanese traditions, a passion for music where I write and create in genres from pop and R&B to bachata and dembow, and an interest in fashion and travel that keep life colorful and connected. I also emphasize nutrition guidance as part of a holistic approach to wellness.

Looking ahead, I plan to open a children’s foundation to serve those who are less fortunate. For me, wellness is not only about health; it is about lifting others up, creating opportunities, and building stronger communities.
